The Edward Kennedy Institute has contributed to the Advanced Course for Political Advisors in CSDP Missions and Operations. This is a three-module course co-organised by the Egmont Institute and the Belgian Centre for Higher Defence Studies, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and the Austrian National Defence Academy. It aims to give participants a knowledge of the tasks and challenges that political advisers are likely to face when deployed in CSDP Missions and Operations and to develop the necessary skills to operate in these complex contexts. Kieran Doyle and Sean Mc Gearty collaborated with the GCSP on the delivery of Module 2; Skills for Political Advisors held in Brussels in July 2023. Please follow the link for more information.
