Dr Chris Roadknight

About

After completing his PhD on neural network based biological data modelling in 2000, Dr Chris Roadknight joined the Advanced Research Group at BT working on modelling the performance of WWW caches, AI systems and ad-hoc network intelligence. After leaving BT he took the opportunity to pursue more academic roles at Lancaster and Nottingham Universities where he researched into environmental informatics, simulation, modelling and AI. He then moved to Nottingham University's Malaysia and Ningbo campuses to work as an Assistant Professor. After a period as Analyst Manager with the National Health Service he returned to academia as Principal Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire and is now an Assistant Professor with Maynooth University. He has written or co-authored over 70 papers with over 1200 citations and 3 patents.
