Dr Conor Crummey participates in the 2024 Public Law Conference

Dr Conor Crummey, Assistant Professor with the School of Law and Criminology attended the 2024 Public Law Conference. The conference was hosted by the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, and co-organized by the uOttawa Public Law Centre and the Melbourne Law School at the University of Melbourne. The conference series is sponsored by Hart Publishing Ltd.

Conor discussed a paper co-authored with George Letsas, University College London 'A Moral Theory of Constitutional Conventions' on a panel entitled, ‘Privileges & Conventions’ moderated by Eoin Carolan University College Dublin. Alongside Conor on the panel was Jelena Gligorijevic, Australian National University, discussing  the paper “Parliamentary Privilege: Right, Duty or Power?” and Leonid Sirota, University of Reading, “What Can be Done to Counter the Decay of Constitutional Conventions?”
