    About

    Áine Coady (She/Her) is the Equality Project Officer in the Office of the Vice President for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion. She works on projects within the University and across the sector linked to the characteristics protected under the Equality Acts. She has worked on many EDI initiatives in Higher Education, including Athena Swan and Race Equality projects.

    Áine was the project lead on ‘Embedding Gender Identity, Expression & Diversity Training and Best Practice into Irish HEIs,’ a HEA/GEEF funded project. She has experience on a wide variety of projects, including the Age Friendly University, the Caring Employers Programme, Sexual Violence & Harassment and has developed & implemented training & awareness in many of these areas. She holds a BA in Geography & Archaeology and MSc in Geography. Social inclusion has long been a focus, she was a member of the Board of Management of a Family Resource Centre and been a volunteer support worker for various national charities.
