Maynooth University Department of Chemistry

The Symposium included oral presentations from postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers of the Department of Chemistry – Maynooth University, previous graduate students (Dr. Susan Reilly, Henkel) and three companies, MSD, Pfizer, and Addible. A poster session was also organised during the lunch break. Finally there was a presentation by the BOC awardee, Mr. Keelan Byrne who works under the supervision of Dr. Tobias Kraemer.

The best poster presentation was awarded to Silvia D'Andrea who works with Dr. Elisa Fadda. The best oral presentation was awarded to Luke Brennan who works with Dr. Rob Elmes. Both of these awards were sponsored by Mason Technology. A particular thanks to BOC ireland, The Royal Society of Chemistry (Local Session Republic of Ireland) for generous funding support.
