'Designing the BBC' Book Launches in Maynooth and London
'Designing the BBC: A History of Motion Graphics', published by Bloomsbury Academic, began with a wonderful launch at Maynooth University's Department of Design Innovation, hosted by special guest Paula Williams from Ravensbourne University London who co-edited the book with Dr Iain Macdonald.

Design ethnographer and criminologist collaborate on strategy development project
In February 2025, Dr. Threase Kessie (Assistant Professor in Design Innovation, Department of Design Innovation) and Dr. Ian Marder (Associate Professor in Criminology, School of Law and Criminology) received funding from Restorative Justice Services (RJS) to design the RJS Strategic Plan for 2025-2028.

Maynooth University is saddened to learn of the death of the philanthropist and spiritual leader Prince Karim Aga Khan, who has died at the age of 88, and who had close ties to the University.
