Patrick Mullins, a 2011 graduate of Maynooth University's BBS Equine Business program, rode Nick Rockett to victory in the Grand National at Aintree on Saturday 5th of April 2025. Nick Rockett (33-1) led a remarkable one-two-three finish for the champion trainer, overcoming pre-race favorite I Am Maximus. This victory marks Willie Mullins' third Grand National win. Patrick Mullins joins his cousins David and Emmet as winners of the Grand National. A huge congratulations to Patrick, on behalf of Maynooth University School of Business, on this incredible achievement.
