On March 20 – 21, 2024 Prof. Hana Cervinkova was an invited speaker at the workshop, Critical Approaches to Militarisation and Space, organized by the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography (IfL) in cooperation with the Universities of Bonn and Freiburg, Leipzig, Germany.
Professor John O' Brennan was a guest speaker and panel chair at the MacGill Summer School in Donegal in July 2024. He chaired a panel on the potential impact of a Donald Trump presidency and participated in a discussion on the rise of populism in Europe, alongside scholars and journalists.
