The Centre for European and Eurasian Studies is proud to announce its second annual undergraduate essay award. The award is open to all undergraduate students across a wide range of departments at the university. The Centre is now accepting submissions (2,000 -6,000 words) from students whose coursework focuses on topics relating to Europe.
We would encourage all students, particularly final year students, who have received a very high mark (68+) in an essay to submit such work for consideration. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your excellent research and enable you to stand out as a prominent candidate for future scholarships and postgraduate programmes. Submissions should be printed and delivered to Helen Kinsella in the European Studies Department and a digital copy should be emailed to: [email protected]
Deadline is 5pm Friday 19th May 2017.
Prize includes a cheque for €250 for the overall winner and €100 for the runner-up.
Entries in English, Spanish, German and French are accepted.
Please include the mark awarded and the name of the person who awarded it on your entry.
