Pauline from the International Office attended an Erasmus staff training week from the 20th to the 24th of May in the University of Trento (Italy): “Challenges and goals through International Mobility”.
Participants have learned and exchanged good practices around the different topics addressed: soft skills and global competences for students, integration of international students, culture shock, etc.
Since the University of Trento is one of MU Erasmus partner, Pauline took the opportunity to met with the International Mobility Office in Trento to discuss the current Erasmus agreement and the potential future expansion.
Pauline also met with two law students from MU currently finishing their Erasmus year in Trento: Kerrie & Sophie. They gave a great feedback on their experience abroad and would be delighted to encourage and help future MU students considering studying abroad.
Lastly Pauline met with Piermaurizio, an Italian student from the University of Trento nominated to study in Maynooth University next year, to provide information regarding his coming experience in Ireland.
