Dr Higgins Acts as Evaluator of the Written Round of the ICC Moot Court Competition 2016

Dr Noelle Higgins was one of the Evaluators of the written submissions for the ICC Moot Court Competition 2016 which was held in The Hague from 22-27 May 2016. 59 teams from 44 countries (350 students in total) took part in the competition and over 245 professionals were involved either as Judges in the oral rounds or as Evaluators of the written round.
 
The final round of the Competition, which took place on Friday, 27 May 2016 at the new premises of the International Criminal Court, was between Singapore Management University, Singapore; the University of Cologne, Germany; and National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India. Ultimately, the team representing Singapore Management University was deemed the overall winner of the Competition with the teams from the University of Cologne and the National Law School of India University, Bangalore coming second and third, respectively.

Dr Higgins is a Senior Lecturer at Maynooth University Department of Law where she lectures in International Criminal LawPublic International Law, and The Rights of Minorities and Indigenous Peoples. Noelle is also the Course Director of the Department's LLM in International Justice.
