Tempro Ensemble was formed in 2018 from singers active in the choir of St Stephen’s Church (the Pepper Canister), Dublin, and Cuore Chamber Choir. All members of Tempro are experienced choral singers with a love of early music. Marking the 501st anniversary of the death of Renaissance composer Josquin des Prez in 1521, this concert presents movements from Josquin's acclaimed Missa Pange Lingua, interspersed with the original 'Pange lingua' plainchant and sacred motets by Palestrina and Josquin.
