Pauline Cullen invited to speak at Univ. of Washington, Seattle

Pauline Cullen. Lecturer in Sociology, spent a week as an invited EU fellow at the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies and the European Union Centre for Excellence at the University of Washington in Seattle where she presented her research on coalition building between European Union civil society organisations working on social justice issues.

She also participated in a workshop examining gendered mobilizations against austerity across Europe where she discussed her work on the Irish women’s movement and other forms of activism on women’s interests in the context of the economic crisis.
