Professor Serena Baldin Leads Seminar on Harmony in Andean Constitutionalism

The staff at Maynooth University Department of Law were delighted to host Professor Serena Baldin this past week.

 
As part of her visit, Professor Baldin, who is an Associate Professor of Comparative Public Law at the University of Trieste in Italy, led a seminar on the legal meaning(s) of harmony in the Andean constitutionalism on Thursday, 3 September 2015. She discussed to what extent ‘harmony’ legitimates rules and institutions, solidaristic and inclusive policies, economic plans balanced with environmental awareness.
