The annual Maynooth University Teaching and Learning Showcase took place on Wednesday morning June 10th in the library. All staff involved in teaching activities were invited to present a poster to showcase best practice and innovations in any aspect of teaching and learning within their subject area. The Department of Sociology was represented by Dr. Brian Conway (course preparation assignments to encourage greater interaction in the classroom ) Dr. Delma Byrne (Researching the first year learning experience at MU) and Professor Mary P. Corcoran/Patricia Kettle (Essay feedback clinics).
