'Unearthing the past: archaeological excavations at Moynagh Lough Crannog, Co. Meath'

Synopsis of presentation:

The late John Bradley, of Maynooth University, directed excavations at Moynagh Lough throughout the 1980s and 1990s. The remarkable wetland site, which was occupied periodically for over five thousand years, yielded prehistoric and early medieval finds and features of international importance. This paper will outline the significance of the findings and plans for a new phase of post-excavation analysis and publication.
