In Spring 2024, Prof. Hana Cervinkova served as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Anthropology, University of Vienna (March 2024), and the Department of Anthropology, Grinnell College, USA (April 2024). During her time at both institutions, she delivered public lectures focused on militarization and national identity. Notable talks included "A Farewell to Švejk: Militarization and Nation-Building in 21st Century Czech Republic" (Grinnell College, USA, April 17, 2024) and "Everlasting Post-Socialism? Reflections on Legitimate Violence after the 'Transition'" (University of Vienna, March 6, 2024).
