A new article by PhD student William Kearney has appeared in the volume Reconsidering knowledge production and inclusion/exclusion in dance communities. Proceedings of the 32nd Symposium of the ICTM Study Group on Ethnochoreology, ed. Rebeka Kunej and Ann R. David. The recipient of a Hume Scholarship and subsequently an IRC Postgraduate Scholarship, William's research combines methods and theories from ethnomusicology and ethnochoreology, and focuses on embodiment in the participatory set dancing traditions of Cork, Kerry and West Limerick in Ireland. William's research is supervised by Dr Adrian Scahill and Professor Tríona Ní Shíocháin (University of Galway).
