- Monday 19 October, 11:00-12:00 – ‘Data Science in the Covid era Hamilton Institute Talks’ – A detailed look at how the work of Maynooth Academics is assisting the Irish Government in its response to COVID-19. Details available here
- Tuesday 20 October, 19:30 – ‘Doireann Ní Ghriofa – Chasing the Ghost in my throat’ – A discussion with acclaimed poet and writer, Doireann Ní Ghriofa on her new book hosted by the Department of Early Irish. Details available here.
- Wednesday 21 October, 15:00 – ‘Sustainable & Healthy Cities for the Future’ – Dr Margaret Nyhan of UCC will discuss her work on developing intelligent solutions for sustainable, healthy, and liveable cities of the future. Details available here.
- Wednesday 21 October, 19:30 – ‘Laura Tunbridge – Beethoven with 2020 Vision’ – Prof Laura Tunbridge of University of Oxford will look at the life and work of Beethoven on the 250th anniversary of this birth. Details available here
- Thursday 22 October, 11:00 – ‘Extremum seeking control for wave energy systems’ – A presentation and discussion of model based and model free techniques for control of ocean wave energy systems. Details available here.
- Thursday 22 October, 19:30 – ‘Kevin Hjortshøj O’Rourke – Brexit in Historical Perspective’ – Prof Kevin O’Rourke of University of Oxford will discuss the origins of Brexit. Details available here.
