Dr Clíodhna Murphy Speaks at European Boarder Crisis Seminar

On 2 March 2016, Dr Clíodhna Murphy spoke at a seminar on “The European Borders Crisis: Transnational Analysis and Local Responses”. The seminar was organised by Maynooth University’s Departments of Geography and Media Studies. Other speakers included Daniel Trilling, editor of New Humanist magazine, and activists Caoimhe Butterly and Ghandi Mallak.
 
Clíodhna’s presentation examined Ireland’s legal and policy response to the borders crisis.
 
Clíodhna is a lecturer within the Department of Law where the courses she lectures in include Globalisation, Migration and the Law on the LLM in International Justice masters programme.
