Dr Ruifang Wang, Lecturer in Management at the School of Business, has co-authored a chapter in the book ‘Handbook of Middle Management Strategy Process Research’, edited by Steven. W. Floyd and Bill Wooldridge.
With contributions from some of the field’s most influential scholars, this handbook provides a path forward for students and researchers interested in strategy process research from a middle management perspective. This ground-breaking handbook both reviews existing theory and explores new ground concerning key issues surrounding middle managers’ influence on strategy making.
The title of the chapter is ‘A Conceptual Framework of Middle Managers’ Strategic Role Flexibility ’, which Ruifang has co-authored with Professor Patrick Gibbons (University College Dublin) and Dr. Ciaran Heavey (University College Dublin).
