The School of Business is pleased to announce that the Irish Academy of Management Annual Conference 2025 will be held in Maynooth University on August 26th - 27th (Doc colloquium August 25th). The conference will be Co-Chaired by the School of Business' Dr Gillian Moran and Dr Edward O'Connor.
A call for papers is now open with the conference title being announced as 'Crafting a New Future for Management – Learning from Existing Paradigms.'
The conference invites an enlightening exploration of the evolving landscape of management in an era marked by rapid technological advancements, shifting societal expectations, and global challenges.
The theme, “Crafting a New Future for Management: Learning from Existing Paradigms”, invites management scholars and innovators to reflect on the strengths and limitations of established paradigms while charting new directions. Together they aim to examine how past frameworks can be reimagined to foster sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation in today’s dynamic business world.
Through keynotes, interactive track discussions, and special interest sessions, the conference will explore topics such as integrating AI into contemporary management practices, fostering organisational learning that thrives amid uncertainty, and embedding ethical and sustainable practices in management and leadership.
The conference aims to go beyond learning and co-create a vision for the future of management that empowers individuals, teams, and organisations to excel in an increasingly complex environment.
The submission portal is now live and will remain open until February 28th 2025.
The conference format asks for the following:
- Word Count Limit - 1500 Words.
- The extended abstract should include the research purpose, methodology, main/preliminary findings (if applicable), and implications and originality.
