Professor Rob Kitchin Made A Member of the Royal Irish Academy (RIA)

Last year Professor Rob Kitchin won the Royal Irish Academy (RIA) Gold Medal for his outstanding contributions to the Social Sciences. We are delighted to announce that this year Professor Rob Kitchin has now been made a member of the RIA. Well done to Rob for these exceptional achievements. Professor Kitchin, a Principal Investigator (PI) based in the new Maynooth University Social Sciences Institute is currently leading an ERC Advanced Grant exploring The Programmable City.  See Professor Kitchin receiving his gold medal last year here (from 2:14 onwards)
