Dr Joe Garrihy speaks at the Department of Justice’s Employment Strategy Launch
The Employment Strategy 2025-2027 has been developed by the Department of Justice, in conjunction with the Irish Prison Service and the Probation Service, and in consultation with key stakeholders including Government Departments, agencies, and those with lived experience of the criminal justice system and have faced barriers to reintegration.

Dr Joe Garrihy and Dr Ciara Bracken-Roche launch their report "Boxed Out: Higher Education, Criminal Convictions, and Perceptions of Risk".
This launch presents the evidence base for reform and fair admissions policies and practices necessary to counteract the primacy of risk-based approaches.
