MU partners on Dublin to Holyhead Green Corridor
The Green Corridor initiative, a collaboration between the ports of Dublin and Holyhead with leading ferry operators, Irish Ferries and Stena Line, and supported by the environmental consultancy Ricardo, Maynooth University and EDF, has received €143,621 in grant funding from the International Green Corridor Fund towards the total project investment.

Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine with special responsibility for research and innovation, Martin Heydon T.D, today launched a Department funded research report titled ‘Sustainable Transition of the Rural Economy Through Generational Renewal’, at Maynooth University. Dr Michael Hayden and Dr Bridget McNally from Maynooth University School of Business, along with Anne Kinsella from Teagasc, led this research project over the past two years.
