Recently the Postgraduate Office congratulated Alex Kayee, a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) applicant who received a Taught Masters scholarship from Programme Director, Dr Tom Campbell following admission to the MA in International Peacebuilding, Security and Development Practice.
Alex is a civil society activist & youth development specialist with over 10 years of professional experience. His work has been focused on the promotion of democracy, peacebuilding, human rights, youth empowerment, and civic engagement and he works as Advocacy and Community Engagement Manager for a leading civil society organization in Liberia.
It's a privilege to have Alex as a participant on our MA in International Peacebuilding, Security and Development Practice programme. Alex brings vast learning and experience from his practice which benefits all engaged in the programme, participants and lecturers alike. Congratulations Alex!
