The Careers and Employability Services supports faculty in engaging with placement students and managing communications. We also support in the following ways:
- Advise on potential placement modules in new degrees or addition of placement to existing degrees
- Troubleshoot placement issues
- Keeping in contact with course directors
- Regular meetings
- Feedback on course content
- Providing feedback from companies
- Advertising student roles
- Marketing the degree to an external audience
Faculty are responsible for determining the deliverables required by students and awarding the credits to students after completing their work placement. We suggest Faculty meet students virtually during their work placement.
New degrees with an accredited work placement need to be flagged with the Placement Team in advance - please email [email protected]
