On the 29th and 30th of January 2024, masters students from the law and criminology programmes in Maynooth University took part in a study trip visiting several international institutions in The Hague, including EUROJUST, the International Criminal Court, the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. As part of their visit, students met with and listened to presentations delivered by international lawyers, prosecutors, investigators, and other legal experts (including administrators of digital evidence collections) working at these institutions.
This trip was organised and led by the Research Centre in International Justice, and its Co-Directors Dr Amina Adanan and Dr Rhiannon Bandiera and PhD candidate Natasha Bradley-Byrne.
The School of Law and Criminology in Maynooth University offers a number of postgraduate programmes, on a full and part time basis, including the LL.M in International Justice, the LL.M in Global Legal Studies and the MA in Comparative Criminology and Criminal Justice.
