PhD candidate at the Department of Law, Stephanie Thompson, is featured in today’s Irish Times Smart Choices supplement.
From being an early school leaver to finding herself enthralled by law on a PLC in business administration and legal studies she went on to study in Carlow IT and was later accepted to the MA in Comparative Criminology and Criminal Justice at Maynooth University. Today, Stephanie is a PhD candidate at the Department of Law and John Hume scholar. Stephanie talks about her fiery independent spirit, her determination and her devotion to her son Stephen and thanks further education every day. This story is truly inspirational and we wish Stephanie every success for her future.
