Wednesday 12th at 4pm saw the reopening of the Creative Cafe run by the University's centre for creativity, EDEN. The Creative Cafe is an idea intended to get people with ideas together. EDEN runs classes in Creativity and it also is the part of the University that runs Enterprise Competitions. In 2015, we will be orchestrating three major innovation and enterprise competitions and we want to get everyone involved.
Last week's cafe started with some fun, fast and free-flowing creative exercises and finished with a speed-networking for ideas exercise. 30 participants from all levels, from undergraduate first years to PhD candidates and staff met each other and shared ideas. But don't think you have to have the next blockbuster idea to come to one of our Cafes - we want people who have ideas and also people who like ideas and would like to work within a team on someone else's idea.
