In 2015, the Maynooth University Chamber Choir, directed by Michael T Dawson, recorded an album with one of Ireland’s most renowned sound engineers, Brian Masterson, known for his work with Van Morrison, Elvis Costello and the Chieftans.
The album has been featured over 50 times on RTE Lyric FM and features soloists from Maynooth University and newly commissioned works by Irish composers Martin O’ Leary, Adam Cullen, and Michael T. Dawson, as well as stand-out recordings of Stanford’s “Bluebird” and Matsushita’s “O Lux Beata Trinitas.”
