Dr Adam Behan wins the Karl Geiringer Scholarship in Brahms Studies

The Department is delighted to congratulate Dr Adam Behan for winning the Karl Geiringer Scholarship in Brahms Studies.

This scholarship is offered annually by the American Brahms Society to a doctoral candidate whose work demonstrates 'significant original thought and research', and has been awarded to Adam for his recently-completed doctoral dissertation, "Life, Work and the Individual Classical Performer: Maria Yudina’s Artistic Practice and Imagination, 1947–70” (University of Cambridge, 2022).
