Maynooth Student Marwa Zamir wins Law Student of the Year at the Irish Law Awards 2024

In their 12th year, these awards aim to identify, honour, and publicise outstanding achievements, while also recognising those who have dedicated their lives to serving in the legal profession. This annual event is designed to recognise excellence in the legal profession of Ireland, commending the achievements of lawyers.

2024 Dye & Durham Irish Law Awards Winners were revealed at a gala awards ceremony on the 14th of June in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin, hosted by Ivan Yates.

Speaking of Marwa's success, Head of the School of Law and Criminology, Dr Fergus Ryan said "I am delighted that Ms Marwa Zamir has been awarded Law Student of the Year 2024 at the Dye and Durham Irish Law Awards. Marwa readily deserves this accolade, given the superb contribution she has made in several spheres as a brilliant and committed advocate and leader.  We are so proud of Marwa and delighted with this achievement.
