Russell Library Huxley Summer Internship for Classics and Mathematics: open to all penultimate and final year Maynooth University undergraduate students of Ancient Classics, Mathematics and Statistics.
For more than a decade, Professor Huxley delivered annual lectures to both departments, and these lectures would be the focus of this internship. Under the supervision of Dr Kieran McGroarty (Ancient Classics) and Dr Ciarán Mac an Bhaird (Mathematics and Statistics) the intern would be tasked with studying Professor Huxley's handwritten lecture notes and accompanying materials, and producing electronic transcriptions along with accompanying bibliographies.
