This week the SHAPES project, in collaboration with SHAPES partner organisation AIAS, has launched the Carefull Europe: Call for Action, which was developed following the presentation of SHAPES results in the European Parliament. The Call is now being circulated among Members of the European Parliament, for endorsement, following which it will be shared with member states.
SHAPES has also contributed to the Lisbon Outcome Statement, which is issued this week following WHO Europe’s Regional Summit on Policy Innovation for Healthy Ageing where Mac MacLachlan, SHAPES PI from Maynooth University, presented the SHAPES project to the policy-maker attendees from the over 50 countries that come under the WHO European regional office.
