Maynooth University ranked 1st in Ireland for Quality Education by THE Global Impact rankings 2020
Maynooth University has been placed in the top 200 universities in the world as ranked by the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings, which capture universities’ impact on society based on their success in delivering the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

International Office Launches New Virtual ‘Tea & Tayto’ Video Chats for Students
Recognising the fact that many students currently find themselves isolated in a foreign country without the regular supports of home family, friends and comforts the International Office have begun hosting a virtual ‘Tea & Tayto’ video chat twice a week.

Irish Council for International Students have resources specifically for international students
ICOS are providing general information and resources specifically for international students on COVID-19. ICOS collaborate with members (including Maynooth University), student organisations and government agencies to ensure that international education policy and practice in Ireland is quality-driven and remains firmly focused on the educational and social needs of all students.

MU Student Received ‘Full-Ride’ Scholarship to Study at Texas Tech University for Summer 2019
Maynooth University secured a full scholarship sponsored by Texas Tech University for a MU Bachelor of Engineering Student to spend the summer at TTU's prestigous Engineering Research Summer Programme for 2019. Two additional scholarships are to be secured for MU students for the summer of 2020.
