Fruitful Collaboration between Maynooth University and Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia
Alessia worked with Dr. Orla Kelleher and Dr. Mary Dobbs as part of her Erasmus+ Traineeship and the research she conducted informed her thesis, titled “The recognition of Rights of Nature in the European Union legal order - Il Riconoscimento dei Diritti alla Natura nel panorama legale dell'Unione Europea”, supervised by Prof. Marco Gestri.

Maynooth Law Student wins Legal Undergraduate of the Year Award
The School is delighted to congratulate final year LLB student Zoe Walsh Gibb who was awarded this year's Legal Undergraduate of the Year Award at the gradireland UGOTY Awards, sponsored by William Fry LLP. The award was announced at a ceremony in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on 9 April 2025.
