Prof Michael Doherty chairs inaugural meeting of the new Employment Law Review Group (ELRG)
Prof Doherty was appointed Chair by the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment (DETE), Peter Burke TD. Minister Burke, and Minister of State for Small Business and Retail, Alan Dillon TD, welcomed and addressed the Group’s members.

Design ethnographer and criminologist collaborate on strategy development project
Dr. Threase Kessie (Assistant Professor in Design Innovation, Department of Design Innovation) and Dr. Ian Marder (Associate Professor in Criminology, School of Law and Criminology) received funding from Restorative Justice Services (RJS) to design the RJS Strategic Plan for 2025-2028.

Last week, the School of Law and Criminology had the privilege of welcoming Ms. Marcella Higgins, Registrar of The Honourable Society of King’s Inns, for an engaging and informative session. Hosted by Dr. Elaine Burroughs, External Relations Manager at the School, the event provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the entrance process for the prestigious King’s Inns programme.
