Maynooth University Law Department visit the international tribunals in The Hague
A group of students and staff from the Law Department travelled to The Hague last January to visit some of the international tribunals and institutions. The group toured the International Criminal Court where they attended a hearing of the Ongwen trial. The students and staff also visited the International Court of Justice and the Special Tribunal for the Lebanon. The trip ended with a visit to EUROJUST, where the group attended a presentation by the Irish National Member to EUROJUST, Mr. Francis Cassidy. Postgraduate and undergraduate students participated in the visit, which was organised by Dr Amina Adanan and Dr Noelle Higgins.
