Dr Higgins Presents at TransLaw 2016 Conference at the University of Tampere, Finland

Dr Noelle Higgins co-presented a paper at the TransLaw 2016 conference on the 'Use of Interpreters for Irish speakers in the Irish Court System'. The conference, the theme of which was 'Translation and Interpreting as a Means of Guaranteeing Equality under Law',  was hosted by the School of Language, Translation and Literary Studies at the University of Tampere in Finland and took place from 2 - 3 May 2016.  Further details about the conference at available online

Dr Higgins is a Senior Lecturer at Maynooth University Department of Law where she lectures in International Criminal LawPublic International Law, and The Rights of Minorities and Indigenous Peoples. Noelle is also the Course Director of the Department's LLM in International Justice.
