Dr ​Hubert Smekal publishes paper in German Law Journal

Dr Hubert Smekal has published a paper in German Law Journal, the top International Law and European Law journal (according to Google Scholar). While academia typically treats informal institutions as negative phenomena, Hubert takes the opposite approach and brings attention to the positive effects of informality in judiciaries. The article “Informality as a Virtue: Exploring Positive Informal Judicial Institutions” is part of a special issue on informal judicial institutions.
