Maynooth University's John and Pat Hume Doctoral Awards Scheme for 2016-2017 has just been launched.
MU John and Pat Hume doctoral awards will be offered to successful doctoral applicants with demonstrated excellence in course work and research and are available to applicants across all departments of the university, including the Department of Law. Applicants for the awards should first make contact with a Maynooth University Department or Research Institute to discuss their suitability for a PhD programme. Applicants must indicate the name of their proposed supervisor on the application form.
Students intending to register initially as a Research Masters student and transfer onto the PhD register after the first year of study are also eligible to apply if they meet other eligibility criteria.
