Prof Michael Doherty presented a paper at the Labour Law Research Network Conference in Warsaw, Poland, which was part of the presentation of the book The Cambridge Handbook of Labor in Competition Law.

The chapter, “Competition Law, Cartels and Collective Bargaining: An Irish Goodbye?” examines how the Irish ‘voluntarist’, common law system of employment relations has responded when competition law and collective representation rights are at odds.
