On a recent trip to Maynooth University the Brazilian Ambassador to Ireland, Afonso José Sena Cardoso took in a guided tour of the Russell Library. Assistant Librarian Barbara McCormack explained the history of the library and St Patrick’s College and displayed a number of Brazilian related items from the library’s collections. Senior Librarian Hugh Murphy presented the Ambassador with a copy of The Medieval Manuscripts of Maynooth.
