GradIreland 2016
Brendan Baker, Head of Careers Service and Chair of AHECS, Association of Higher Education Careers Services attended this years gradireland Graduate Careers Fair which took place in RDS Simmonscourt. Minister for Education & Skills, Richard Bruton was also in attendance and the Minister was very interested in the work of AHECS and the partnership with gradireland.
Attendance
This year had 9224 pre-registered attendees and there were over 6000 students there on the day.
Analysis of the event attendees show that students/graduates from 35 different third-level institutions attended from across Ireland and further afield.

There was a total of 110 exhibitors at this year’s Fair. These were a mixture of employers, postgraduate providers and professional bodies, start-ups and non-profit organisations.
The CV Clinic proved to be an important part of the day for the students as always and was extremely popular.
