Five students from 2nd Year Chinese Studies took the HSK Chinese Proficiency Test 汉语水平考试 on 28 March 2015. They all passed the test and were awarded Level Three certificates. Congratulations to all students who participated.
The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) is China's national standardized test designed and developed by the HSK Center of Beijing Language and Culture University to assess the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers (including foreigners, overseas Chinese and students from Chinese national minorities).

Special congratulations to Rachel Bracken and Damien McEvoy who have been awarded the Chinese Language Council scholarship. This scholarship will provide tuition and living expenses for the students during their academic year in China 2015-2016. Damien and Rachel will travel to China along with other Chinese Studies students in September 2015. Students will be placed in 6 different universities for their third year including Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu. We wish all our students a wonderful year in China.
