The Experiential Learning Office were delighted to host their Project Live event “A Celebration and Cultivation of Community Engaged and Work-Related Learning” on Friday 12 November, as part of the National Forum’s Valuing Ireland’s Teaching and Learning (VIT&L) week.

Launched by the Maynooth University Experiential Learning Office in 2020, Project Live is an initiative that facilitates collaboration between external stakeholders, academics, and students. Academics are connected with stakeholders from across the community, public and private sectors who have a specific need that they would like Maynooth University students to work on. Academics work with stakeholders to create a student project within a module that addresses the identified need. This engaged learning experience aims to deliver real value to external partners, while enriching the curriculum and enhancing teaching and learning.

Opened by the Dean of Teaching and Learning, Dr Alison Hood, this event was two-fold. It celebrated the publication of the Project Live Exemplars, and also launched the 2021/22 Project Live partnerships. Read our newsletter below to find out more.
