Criminologists publish study on lecturer-student relationship building
In October 2024, Dr. Ian Marder (Assistant Professor in Criminology), Ashleigh Pillay (Research Assistant in Restorative Practices and PhD Student in Criminology) and Triona Kenny (Research Assistant in Restorative Practices and PhD Student in Criminology) published a new article in the Journal of Further and Higher Education.

Maynooth Centre for European Law - Special Issue of the Northern Ireland Legal Quarterly: The Windsor Framework – guarantees, gaps and governance
The special issue is the product of the Centre’s launch workshop on the Windsor Framework - the name given to the reworked protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland – which took place in June 2023 and which was generously supported by the Maynooth University Social Sciences Institute and the University’s Impact Through Dissemination Fund.

The workshop which was held on the 29th and 30th of April 2024 was organised as part of the European Research Council funded PatentsInHumans project.

Workshop on Internally Displaced Persons Law and Policy hosted by Centre for International Justice, School of Law and Criminology
The workshop was organised by Dr Bríd Ní Ghráinne, Associate Professor at the School of Law and Criminology. It gathered participants from various disciplines, countries, and career stages to showcase their research and gain detailed feedback from their peers.
