Part-time positions for the Academic Year 2020/21 (October 2020 - May 2021).
- Between 2 & 6 one-hour tutorials per week.
- All Tutor positions are subject to the approval of the Head of Department.
We are currently looking for suitable candidates for the Academic Year 2020/21. Candidates must have a sufficient undergraduate mathematical background to be considered. Preference will be given to Postgraduate Mathematics & Statistics students. The Department runs tutorials for all undergraduate programmes.
Tutors will be expected to:
- Run tutorials (on-campus and/or online via Microsoft Teams)
- Grade assignments
- Maintain tutorial records
- Liaise with the relevant Lecturer(s).

Statistics / Data Science Tutors (Part-Time)

We are currently looking for suitable candidates for the Academic Year 2019/20. Candidates must have a sufficient undergraduate mathematical background to be considered. Preference will be given to Postgraduate Mathematics & Statistics students.

Mathematics Support Centre Tutors (Part-Time)

MSC Tutors will be expected to:
- Assist students (on-campus and/or online via Microsoft Teams) at the assigned hours.
- Liaise with the MSC Director on all matters relating to the MSC.

Mathematical Computing Demonstrators - 2nd Mathematical Studies and 3rd Applied (Part-Time)
Part-time positions for the Academic Year 2020/21 (October 2020 - May 2021).

Candidates will be expected to assist the instructor with 2nd Year Mathematical Studies and 3rd Year Mathematics Applied students who are taking Mathematical computing classes as part of their 200 & 300 level modules. Demonstrators will also be expected to maintain records.
Applicants must have experience of some Mathematical or Statistical software packages, preference will be given to applicants with experience of SageMath, Minitab or Maple who have covered the material in all associated courses.
