Dr Elizabeth Boyle, lecturer in Early Irish at Maynooth University, has published a volume of essays on medieval Irish literary culture, co-edited with Dr Deborah Hayden (Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies). The book is entitled Authorities and Adaptations: the Reworking and Transmission of Textual Sources in Medieval Ireland and is available from the online bookshop of the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies. It features a chapter by Dr Boyle on the Latin poem De mirabilibus Hibernie ('On the Wonders of Ireland') and also includes a chapter by the Head of the School of Celtic Studies in Maynooth, Professor Ruairí Ó hUiginn, on the adaptation of Ulster Cycle tales.
